As little girls, most of us dream of growing up and having families of our own.
We are told all of the good and beautiful things about pregnancy and being a mom. It’s not until we start trying to have that family that we learn it isn’t as easy for some.
It isn’t until then we learn 1 in 8 women struggle with infertility. Or that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage.
It isn’t something commonly talked about but it is real.
The heartbreak of watching just one line appear on that pregnancy test when you knew for sure that there were going to be two this time, is real.
The jealousy of seeing it come so easily to others, is real. All the emotions that come along with it, are real.
I see you mama, I understand you. I believe wholeheartedly that our time will come, one way or another.
Until then, I pray for you every single day. I pray that your heart be healed from the hurt. I pray that you one day get to bring home the baby your heart is longing for. I pray that your “someday” is coming soon.
